Come and join the Champaign County Master Gardener Volunteers on Thursday May 28 for an evening all about roses!  Our speaker will be Amanda Bennett, Assistant Professor and Extension Educator, Miami County.  Participants will be able to learn about selecting the perfect rose for our growing area, care, maintenance and pruning of roses and more.  

The first 30 to register will be given the option to pay $40.00 which will include the program and taking home a beautiful 2-gallon floribunda rose from Straders Garden Center in Columbus.  We only have 30 of these beautiful plants, so plan on getting your registration done early!  Additional participants will be able to register for $15.00 to attend the program.  Are you a Master Gardener Volunteer?  If so, regardless of your home county you will be able to attend for just $5.00.  

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., and will be held at the Champaign County Fairgrounds, in the 4-H Activities building.  The address is 384 Park Ave., in Urbana.  

Payments for the program will be taken online at the conclusion of the registration process.  The deadline to register is May 22, and is not confirmed until the payment portal process is completed.
