For many years, the Champaign County 4-H Family & Consumer Sciences Committee has sponsored a concession stand at the Flea Market held the 1st full weekend of the month at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. The profit from the concession stand sponsors many awards that are given to 4-H members, helps fund home economics type project camps and awards college scholarships to well-deserving 4-H members who exhibit their projects in the 4-H Activities Building.

Staffing is always a challenge so we are hoping that you will be able to help in some way. We would like for you to use the link below to see the shifts available and to sign up. Generally the time involved is about 4 hours.

4-H members need to be at least in the 7th grade in order to help out due to Health Department restrictions.

You may use your volunteer time to go towards a specific 4-H committee as you wish. The Dairy Council is using their advisors and members time to go towards funds needed for a new dairy barn. The 4-H Committee, 4-H Family & Consumer Sciences Committee and 4-H Food, Fashion & Creative Arts Board are also committees that you may donate your time to.
