WELCOME BACK TO THE CHAMPAIGN COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE!
We are currently in the process of physically reopening our office.
While many of our staff members are still teleworking, per direction of Ohio State, some employees will start to work from this location on a limited basis. Our office will be open beginning Monday June 15 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Only 4-H Educators and Program Assistants will be on hand during these hours. Appointments should be made if you cannot visit during this time, or to conduct AgNR or FCS related business. Please call 937-484-1526 to setup any appointments. Please follow social distancing requirements when visiting the office, which include wearing a mask, and waiting outside of the lobby office area if you observe someone already being waited on. Only 1 person/family will be allowed into the office at a time for this reason.
Anyone working within our office have been granted permission from Ohio State to do so at this time. Essential safety and health precautions are being taken at this facility. The workers in our office have verified that they are not sick at this time and have not been knowingly exposed to anyone with COVID-19 or other illnesses. While on-site, each person must wear a face mask in public areas, cleanse his or her hands regularly, and observe social distancing guidelines. All Extension offices will be cleaned regularly, and equipment will be sanitized daily. “Thank you to everyone for your cooperation and collaboration related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Like Ohio State, OSU Extension remains committed to the health and well-being of our community and serving our communities in each county as this situation evolves. These are unprecedented times, and we sincerely appreciate your flexibility and support,” said Wilkins.
Event Cancellation Notice/Reminder
Per previous Ohio State decision, all university in-person events are still cancelled through July 6, and Extension activities planned through July 6 will continue to be held virtually or cancelled. Ohio State will continue to evaluate and update plans based on evolving conditions with COVID-19.
